Having grown substantially since then, CCSI is undergoing a transformative shift to becoming a field-building organization for community economic development. This move aims to create a stronger environment for local strategies promoting equity and advancing prosperity.

Linda is deeply committed to increasing prosperity in low-wealth places for the people who live and work there. Through communications and event management, she facilitates the exchange of ideas, resources, and relationships among the community development field. At CCSI, Linda has developed a keen interest in improving the social determinants of health. As a retired RN of 35 years experience, she works to move forward partnerships between the community development and health sectors.

Our goal is to increase the production of affordable housing through public policy, increased resources, greater sector efficiency, and partnerships committed to social equity within sustainable communities. Songhai works closely with a broad-reaching network to advocate for and implement public policies that create safe, healthy, affordable homes. She is a licensed realtor and active with the youth community.
