The CCSI Summer Flight Academy's vision is rooted in inclusivity, striving to make aviation training widely accessible to aspiring pilots and aviation enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds. In numerous communities, the prospect of pursuing an aviation career often feels unattainable and distant. Our research revealed that specialized camp programs designed to introduce young people to the world of aviation can charge upwards of $1,500 per week, a staggering amount that is well beyond the financial reach of many families.
Additionally, young individuals from these communities frequently notice a lack of representation in aviation-related professions; they don’t see many role models or mentors who share their background or experiences. This absence of familiarity only deepens the disconnect, making it even harder for our youth to envision a future in this dynamic field.

Flight Training Modules and Activities
Ground School Lessons
Ground school covers essential theoretical knowledge for pilot training, including aerodynamics, physics, math, weather, and FAA regulations.
