The Early Childhood Education Apprenticeship Program is a state monitored, one-year program if experienced and a two-year program if the participant has very little experience in childcare. During the program's six semesters students will study suitable guidance techniques, developmentally appropriate strategies, and activities for young children ages infant to school-age, basic principles of child development, and professional and ethical practices pertaining to early childhood education.
Our career program meets Child & Family Services licensing standards of a CDA Equivalency.
CCSI is the community hub where the finest, proven programs and innovative alternatives are coordinated and managed so the combination of services delivers solutions empowering our community to make sustainable personal changes that positively impact the lives of our community members and our society as a whole through a systems approach that leads to economic development.
In May of 2012, about nine years ago, we asked this question of the local community: "What kind of change would you like to see, and what are you willing to do to get that change to come into fruition"?
We believe it is critical to know exactly what is wanted by the community that we are serving. In that manner, any development that is earned through hard work is also owned.
We have created the following successful programs:
Has your young one ever wondered what it would be like to take control of an aircraft in the skies? Well, here is the chance. Learning to fly requires more than getting into an airplane and flying, it also requires that you learn the subjects required to pass the FAA Private Pilot Written Exam. So, each day, you will attend ground school. The ground school is taught by experienced instructors using the latest audio-visual equipment and computers.
Our Summer Flight Academy is structured to introduce youth to the exciting world of aviation. After the completion of the ground school program the participant may choose to include actual flight training with certified Flight Instructors and other various activities combining fun and adventure with the Paragon Flight Center Staff at Page Field Airport in Fort Myers Florida!
